Browser Caching

Browsers are able to cache pages from websites to make accessing the information a second time quicker. Other services such as proxy servers, virtual libraries and archive sites may also cache pages. The options with browser caching are;

• public, caching and archival permitted and can be shared
• private, caching and archiving only allowed for private use
• no-store, may be cached but not archived
• no-cache, do not cache or archive for any reason

When selecting no-cache, this script will also automatically include the 'pragma no cache' META tag
